Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Signal Integrity Engineer for its team in Vancouver, WA. The role focuses on high-speed data transmission solutions, PCB layout, and bringing new interconnect products to market.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to analyze SI issues, perform measurements (TDR, VNA), and apply advanced simulation tools to improve connector performance and customer support.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or Physics required.
Hands-on experience with frequency-domain and time-domain component characterization.
Experience with signal integrity measurements and debugging with TDR, VNA, pattern generators and similar equipment.
Understanding of electromagnetic principles.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with high-speed data transmission solutions.
Identify and resolve signal integrity issues in PCB layout.
Design, characterize, and apply high-speed electrical connectors and cable interconnects.
Support sales engineers with product strategy for new accounts based on SI expertise.
Apply circuit theory and high-speed transmission concepts to PCB layouts.
