Job summary

Apple is seeking an experienced engineer to join the team that develops SOCs used in Apple devices. You will own memory interface signal integrity from package to board, with DDR/LPDDR design and modeling experience as a must-have.

Responsibilities include electrical and physical design of memory systems, SI/PI modeling, test plan execution, and collaboration with circuit, product, and system teams to improve yield. Familiar lab equipment like VNA, TDR, scopes are beneficial.

Qualifications

• BS + 10 years of industry experience.
• Prior design and modeling experience with DDR or LPDDR interfaces.
• Excellent academic background.
• Familiar with lab equipment such as: VNA, TDR, real-time scope, spectrum analyzer.

Responsibilities

• Work on electrical and physical design of memory systems.
• Work on electrical extraction and validation of package and MLB.
• Collaborate with circuit and controller teams to optimize memory system design.
• Perform SI and PI modeling, simulation, and characterization memory interface.
• Develop and execute test plans to validate signal and power integrity.
• Collaborate with product engineering and system engineering to debug and to improve product yield.
