Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to sit onsite in RTP NC to join an innovative organization within the high-speed connectivity and electronics industry. The engineer will develop, test, and optimize interconnect solutions supporting AI infrastructure, data centers, networking equipment, and HPC platforms.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering (Master's/PhD preferred) and 3+ years in signal integrity with hands-on measurement tools and EDA software such as

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's or PhD preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in signal integrity or related electrical engineering disciplines.
• Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment (VNAs, TDRs, pattern generators, error detection tools).

Responsibilities

• Support development and deployment of high-speed interconnect solutions across the product lifecycle.
• Perform signal integrity modeling, simulation, validation, and troubleshooting for connector and cable systems.
• Develop testing methodologies and verification processes for new product introductions and manufacturing support.
• Design and evaluate PCBs and test fixtures used for electrical characterization and validation.
• Collaborate with customers, sales, and engineering to solve complex high-speed transmission challenges.
