Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions, a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Signal Integrity Engineer in Austin, TX or remote. You will contribute to customer systems from concept to production and develop test strategies for new products.

Qualifications include a BS in Electrical Engineering (MS/PhD preferred) and 3 years of SI experience with tools like HFSS, CST, HSPICE, MATLAB, and ADS. You will work on high-speed connectors and interconnects across multiple markets.

Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
3 years of industry experience with EM principles for digital signal integrity.
Experience with SI measurements and debugging using TDR, VNA, pattern generators and error detectors.
Experience with SI tools such as HFSS, Designer, CST Microwave, HSPICE, MatLab, and ADS.
Hands-on experience with frequency-domain and time-domain characterization, testing and calibration methods.

Responsibilities

Contribute to teams responsible for customer system development from concept to production.
Develop integration and test strategies for new product introduction.
Assist customers with high speed data transmission requirements.
Design, simulate, characterize and apply high-speed connectors and cable interconnects.
Share knowledge and pursue continuous improvement in methods and workflows.
