Job summary

TE Connectivity is seeking a R&D/Product Development Signal Integrity Engineer in Middletown, PA to design, simulate and verify high-speed products for connectors and cable assemblies, with a focus on datacenter connectivity. You will lead SI analyses from initial concept through prototype and production validation, collaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering and manufacturing.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Master's preferred.
1-3 years in a signal integrity engineering role.
Experience with interconnect design or connector/cable assemblies (high-speed twinax, DAC).
Proficiency with SI tools such as ADS/HFSS and PCB design review experience.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate simulation to design improvements.

Responsibilities

Lead electrical design, simulation, and verification testing of high-speed products in connectors/cable assemblies.
Perform SI simulations across multiple high-speed standards and define appropriate methodologies.
Review PCB schematic/layouts and provide actionable design recommendations.
Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and operations teams to deliver advanced designs.
Guide connector design and component qualifications from SI standpoint.
