Position: Signal Integrity Engineer

Location: Valley Green, PA

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to join our team in Nashua, NH. The role involves working with a team of engineers responsible for component development and customer support on new product introductions.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate on developing next-generation high-speed backplane interconnect products.
2. Design, simulate, and characterize high-speed electrical connectors and cable-based interconnects.
3. Provide solutions to customers' high-speed data transmission needs.
4. Support sales strategies based on signal integrity and electrical engineering expertise.
5. Identify and resolve signal integrity issues in PCB layouts.
6. Apply circuit theory and high-speed digital transmission principles.

Required Qualifications:

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• Experience with frequency and time-domain component and circuit characterization.
• Proficiency with signal integrity measurement tools like TDR, VNA, pattern generators.
• Understanding of electromagnetic principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• 2+ years industry experience.
• Experience in high-speed interconnect design for communication systems.
• Familiarity with simulation tools like Ansys HFSS, CST Microwave, HSPICE, MatLab, and ADS.
