FormFactor, Inc. is seeking a Signal Integrity Engineer to enhance SI/PI performance across PCB, package, and interconnect designs. You will measure, characterize, and compare lab data with simulations to refine models and future designs.
The role involves designing power distribution networks for high‑density I/O, and guiding layout decisions to reduce reflections, crosstalk, and EMI. Prior Cadence Allegro and RF probe‑measurement experience is required.
Employer: FormFactor, Inc.
Position: Signal Integrity Engineer
Duties: Improve Signal Integrity and Power Integrity (SI/PI) performances, and measure, characterize and complete production design analysis. Perform lab measurements and correlate to simulations to refine future models. Model and design power distribution and high-density input and outputs (I/O) on Printed Circuit Boards (PCB), packages, connectors, and probe cards with respect to parameters such as reflections, bandwidth, and crosstalk. Provide, document, and train the Design Organization on design constraints, specifications and solutions to PCB and package layout based on Signal Integrity. Support the probe card development within the Design Group by improving the Design Organizations and understanding Signal Integrity fundamentals resulting in shorter cycle time and higher quality product.
