Job summary

Teradyne in Agoura Hills, CA, is seeking a Supply Line Engineer to support signal delivery assemblies for advanced test systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related engineering discipline.
• 8 to 15 years of experience in supplier engineering, product engineering, process development, or electronics manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of signal transmission theory and how materials, geometry, manufacturing variation, assembly methods, and process controls affect electrical performance.
• Experience with manufacturing methods used to attach coaxial wire to rigid PCBs, flexible PCBs, and high-frequency microwave connectors.
• Experience with supplier qualification, design for manufacturability, PFMEA, control plans, process capability, statistical process control, Gage R&R, and root cause and corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Support signal delivery assemblies for advanced test systems from NPI through lifecycle.
• Influence architecture, material selection, manufacturing methods, critical specifications, and supplier selection with design engineering.
• Develop clear, manufacturable technical requirements, including key characteristics, drawings, inspection methods, test expectations, and qualification criteria.
• Establish supplier controls for tooling, inspection, testing, process flow, PFMEA, control plans, SPC, and quality gates.
