Job summary

AWP Safety, Inc. is seeking a Material Installer to transport, prepare, and install signage and related materials across job sites. The role focuses on precise mounting, site preparation, safety compliance, and timely completion of installations.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, a willingness to work long hours, and basic knowledge of signs with hands-on tool experience. Field-based role with outdoor conditions and heavy lifting involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED completed.
• 2-year degree in industrial-related field is a plus but not required.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
• Must adhere to and promote safe workplace practices.
• Valid Driver’s License without suspension or revocation.
• Knowledge of various types of signs (vinyl, channel letters, electrical, road signs).
• Ability to operate hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Load and transport signs, tools, and materials to the location safely.
• Prepare site for installation by removing old signage and surface prep.
• Ensure accurate measurement, placement, and installation of materials.
• Mount and install signs according to safety protocols.
• Clear debris and perform site clean-up after installation.
• Maintain tools and equipment per safety standards.
