Job summary

FASTSIGNS is seeking a full-time Sign Production Specialist in Idaho Falls to join our team. You will follow layouts to apply vinyl and full-color graphics to substrates, prepare surfaces, weed vinyl, and operate printers to deliver high-quality signs.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in sign production and a high school diploma or equivalent. You must be able to stand for long periods, lift 50+ lbs, and work well under pressure while ensuring accuracy and timely output.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of sign production experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods (4 hours or more).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

• Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images on a substrate.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application including cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc.
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images; adjust techniques by size and complexity.
• Operate and maintain printer(s).
• Perform QA measures by reading Work Orders and proofreading for errors.
• Finish by laminating and mounting printed pieces.
• Report inventory levels and stock to the center/production manager.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.
