FASTSIGNS is hiring a full-time Sign Production Specialist. Primary duties include following layouts to apply vinyl or full-color graphics, preparing substrates, weeding vinyl, operating printers, and performing quality checks.

The role requires standing for long periods, lifting 50+ pounds, and ability to work under pressure. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $26.00 per hour, with benefits including paid vacation/holidays, performance bonus, ongoing training, and a training week at HQ

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in sign production preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more).
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and apply vinyl letters and graphics.
• Ability to work under pressure to produce high-volume, high-quality work.
• Ability to use light power equipment.

Responsabilités

• Follow a layout to place vinyl or full-color graphics on a substrate.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application (cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning).
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images and adjust for size and complexity.
• Operate and maintain printer(s).
• Perform quality assurance by reading Work Orders and proofreading for errors.
• Finish by laminating and/or mounting printed pieces.
• Report inventory levels and reorder needs to the center/production manager.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist Will

• Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images
• Operate and maintain printer(s)
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
• Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
• Clean and maintain storage areas

Ideal Qualifications For FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist
