• Plans and prepares lessons and instructional materials.
• Instructs students using American Sign Language and English.
• Develops IEPs with parents, testing specialists, and administrators.
• Maintains classroom order and safety.
• Attends required meetings and trainings.

Responsibilities

• Confer with parents and supervisor about students' academic progress.
• Select appropriate textbooks and learning materials.
• Participate in curriculum development and updates.
• Intercedes in emergency situations as required.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
