Responsibilities

• Plans and prepares lessons and instructional materials following curriculum guidelines.
• Instructs students in various subjects using ASL and English.
• Confer with parents, testing specialists, and administrators to develop individual education plans (IEPs).
• Encourages students to participate in class discussions and activities.
• Prepares, administers, and scores academic tests and records results.
• Maintains classroom order and participates in departmental and faculty meetings.
