Job summary

Sage Connections, LLC is seeking a full-time sign language interpreter (SLI) for the 2025–2026 school year to support K–12 students onsite in North Carolina. The role offers 37.5–40 hours per week with a Mon–Fri schedule and a caseload of mostly 1:1 support.

Responsibilities include interpreting for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students, collaborating with teachers and IEP teams, and ensuring access to instruction while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in interpreting or related field preferred.
• Valid RID certification or EIPA score of 3.4 or higher preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience working in educational settings strongly preferred.
• Fluency in American Sign Language (ASL) and English.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Reliable, professional, and student-centered
