Job description

Support a bright future for students as a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter in a school environment near Fort Wayne, IN. As a Sign Language Interpreter, you will:

• Deliver interpreting services for a Deaf or Hard of Hearing student in various school settings
• Facilitate clear, accurate communication between the student, educators, school staff, and peers
• Interpret classroom lessons, meetings, and school activities or events
• Help the student fully participate in the educational environment
• Partner closely with teachers and special education professionals to address individual student needs
• Follow Individualized Education Program (IEP) accommodations and adhere to school policies
• Exercise professionalism and maintain strict confidentiality at all times
