Sunbelt is seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter to support students in a Buford, GA school environment. The role offers full-time on-site interpretation across multiple settings within the district, beginning as soon as possible through May 27, 2027.

You will provide one-on-one interpretation for students who are deaf or hard of hearing, collaborating with teachers and special education teams to ensure equitable classroom access and ongoing communication for academic success within

• Active GA DOE Sign Language Interpreter License (must be presented prior to start).
• Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter within educational settings.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
• Ability to adapt swiftly between different classroom environments.

• Commitment to confidentiality and student success.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver one-on-one interpreting services for assigned students.
• Clearly relay spoken language into ASL (and vice versa) to facilitate classroom access.

Step into an impactful role supporting students as a Sign Language Interpreter for a dynamic school environment close to Buford, GA.

This contract opportunity offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference on a one-to-one basis, working across multiple settings within a supportive educational community.

The position begins as soon as possible, continuing through May 27th, 2027.

In this role, you'll split your time between the Alliance Academy and various locations within the district, providing vital communication support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.

The position is full-time on-site, with flexibility required as a part-time floating SLI within the district as needed.

Key Qualifications

• Active GA DOE Sign Language Interpreter License (must be presented prior to start)
• Proven experience as a Sign Language Interpreter within educational settings
• Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
• Ability to adapt swiftly between different classroom environments
