Job summary
Admiral Wholesale Signs is seeking a detail-oriented Sign Estimator to join our team. You will translate drawings and specifications into accurate, competitive quotes for sign projects nationwide.
The ideal candidate understands channel letters, illuminated cabinets, monuments, pylons and other signs, can read drawings, and estimate material, labor and production costs. Qualifications
- Experience in the sign industry or custom fabrication environment.
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, dimensions and specs.
- Understanding of fabrication processes and production costing.
Responsibilities
- Review customer drawings, artwork, specifications and requests.
- Prepare accurate material and labor estimates for custom signage.
- Estimate channel letters, cabinets, monuments and other sign projects.
- Calculate material quantities, fabrication labor and production costs.
- Obtain vendor pricing and identify missing information for quotes.
- Prepare professional quotes and manage multiple requests and deadlines.
- Collaborate with Sales, Design and Production to optimize fabrication methods.
- Identify value-engineering opportunities when appropriate.
