The ideal candidate has strong technical understanding, excellent math and communication skills, and a proven ability to develop accurate proposals while ensuring profitability and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in signage estimating or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of signage materials, fabrication methods, and installation practices.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, drawings, and site information to prepare detailed cost estimates
• Obtain pricing from vendors and suppliers for materials and subcontracted services
• Calculate labor, material, fabrication, equipment, and installation costs
• Work closely with sales and project managers to develop accurate proposals and bids
• Maintain estimating tools, templates, and cost databases
• Ensure all estimates comply with local codes, permitting requirements, and safety standards
