Job summary

Thomas Sign & Awning in Clearwater, FL seeks an Estimator to join our team. You will estimate sign components such as cabinets, pylons, pole covers, awnings, and window signs using AutoCAD, Casmate and MS Access.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints and engineering notes, collaborating with manufacturing and other departments, and preparing accurate quotes for custom sign assemblies.

Qualifications

• Good math and organizational skills.
• Able to read blueprints, shop drawings and have basic mechanical understanding.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have cooperative attitude and work well with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Estimate sign components such as cabinets, pylons, pole covers, awnings, and window signs.
• Use MS Access, AutoCAD and Casmate for estimates.
• Read and interpret customer drawings and engineering notes.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure manufactured products meet customer expectations.
• Train less experienced workers.
