Job summary

Thomas Sign & Awning in Clearwater, FL seeks an Estimator to cost sign cabinets, pylons, awnings, and other sign assemblies. You will review drawings, compute material quantities, and prepare quotes for customers.

Candidates should be comfortable reading blueprints, using AutoCAD, MS Access, and Casmate, and collaborating with production and sales to ensure the quote meets customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Good math and organizational skills.
• Able to use a PC and Windows Operating system.
• Able to read blueprints, shop drawings and have basic mechanical understanding.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must have cooperative attitude and work well with others in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Estimate sign components such as cabinets, pylons, pole covers, awnings, window signs and other sign assemblies.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering notes to ensure specifications are met.
• Collaborate with production and sales to ensure quotes align with customer expectations.
