Job summary

FASTSIGNS of West Metro, MN is seeking a Production Specialist to create and assemble sign and graphic products in a dynamic environment. Basic computer skills are required; no prior graphics design experience needed.

Tasks include cutting graphics, applying graphics to substrates, and potential on-site installations with ladders or lifts. Training will be provided, and the role offers hands-on growth across laser and rotary engraving and wide format printing as you progress.

Qualifications

• No prior Graphics Design experience required, but basic computer skills are necessary.
• Position requirements include cutting printed graphics using wall cutters, saws, and Exacto blades.
• The Production Specialist may be required to work in the field performing installations to vehicles and interiors/exteriors.
• Cross training into laser and rotary engravers and wide format digital printing is preferred as you progress.
• Comprehensive training in all aspects of this position will be provided.

Job description

Graphics and Sign Specialists work in a dynamic, creative and fast-paced environment to create and assemble sign and graphic products for many different business applications. Creative work is performed within the FASTSIGNS Center sign production area that is fully equipped with top-of-the-line sign-making equipment.

No prior Graphics Design experience required, but basic computer skills are necessary. Position requirements include cutting printed graphics using a variety of wall cutters, saws, and Exacto blades, as well as applying the product to substrates. The Production Specialist may be required to work in the field performing installations to vehicles, and building interiors and exteriors using a ladder or mechanical lift system. Careful attention to detail utilizing work orders that outline specifics for each custom order is paramount. Cross training into the operation of laser and rotary engravers as well as wide format digital full color printing is preferred as you progress.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, with problem-solving skills who pays very close attention to accuracy and detail. Comprehensive training in all aspects of this position will be provided.

Compensation: $16.00 per hour
