Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy dashboards and reports using Sigma Computing that empower self-service analytics for business teams.
• Connect Sigma to cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake) and optimize performance of data queries.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Build and maintain reusable datasets and data models that support robust reporting capabilities.
• Implement data security, including row-level security and access control within the Sigma platform.
• Monitor dashboard performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize user experience.
• Document processes, data definitions, and usage guidelines to support governance and standardization.
• Stay up-to-date with Sigma platform updates and best practices to ensure optimal use of the tool.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience working with Sigma Computing or similar modern BI platforms (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
• Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, including normalized/denormalized structures and star/snowflake schemas.
• Ability to build user-friendly dashboards with a focus on performance, usability, and accuracy.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in building self-service BI environments for business users.
• Familiarity with dbt, ETL pipelines, or data orchestration tools.
• Exposure to version control (e.g., Git) and collaborative development environments.
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality best practices.
