Job summary

Peraton is seeking a SIGINT Systems Engineer to join our Cyber Mission business unit in Fort Meade, MD. This full-time role supports one of the largest enterprise-wide engineering contracts within the Intelligence Community, performing at a customer location with 1880 hours of work per year.

The engineer will apply systems engineering across the full lifecycle—from concept through production to support—interacting with Government and development personnel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 20+ years of general systems engineering experience, or a high school diploma or GED plus 24 years of general systems engineering experience, or a Master's degree or PhD with 18 years of general systems engineering experience.
• Thorough understanding of US Armed Forces tactical SIGINT operations, military capabilities, and SIGINT concepts of operation.
• Position requires frequent travel.
• Position requires TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• Experience in intelligence cycle, information operations, signals intelligence technical expertise, and familiarity with National SIGINT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering principles to various systems through the full lifecycle: concept, development, production, utilization and support.
• Interact with Government and development personnel regarding technical considerations and write documentation.
• Work at a customer location in Fort Meade, MD and communicate with peers and decision makers in writing.
