Cherokee Strategic Edge, part of Cherokee Federal, Fort Carson, CO, seeks a highly skilled SIGINT/EW Exercise Scripter to design realistic exercise scenarios and scripts for training military personnel and analysts. The role demands deep SIGINT/EW expertise, instructional capability, and hands-on development of training materials and evaluations.

Active TS/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence polygraph is required, and a US citizen is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of Army Military Intelligence experience and related SIGINT/EW analysis.
  • Ability to structure analysis from trends and multiple perspectives within the intelligence discipline.
  • Ability to collaborate with IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop training products, documents, requirements, strategies, training materials, and provide instruction in support of SIGINT/EW.
  • Develop and update Tactical through Strategic Intelligence Systems/Capabilities training products/classes/documents and present training to units regarding current and future capabilities.
  • Support operational tests, training product support using the Training Development Capability (TDC) database, and daily operational IT support.
  • Support other Intelligence NETs and provide input to the Training Developers/Instructors in the Directorate of Training (DOT).
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking a SIGINT/EW (Signals Intelligence/Electronic Warfare) Exercise Scripter is a skilled professional responsible for developing and designing exercise scenarios and scripts that replicate real-world SIGINT and EW operations. They possess expertise in the field of SIGINT and EW, as well as a deep understanding of the operational environment and relevant technologies. Their primary role is to create realistic exercise scenarios that challenge and train military personnel, intelligence analysts, or other stakeholders in the effective use of SIGINT and EW techniques and equipment. They develop scripts, oversee the execution of exercises, and provide feedback and evaluation on performance. The SIGINT/EW Exercise Scripter plays a crucial role in simulating authentic situations to enhance the proficiency and readiness of personnel in SIGINT and EW operations.

Starting Salary Range for SIGINT/EW Exercise Scripter:$99,000 – $99,000

Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities:

Includes the following:

  • Provides Instructor/Operator (I/O) services to develop training products, documents, requirements, strategies, training materials, and provide instruction in support of SIGINT/EW and provide operational support.
  • Provides I/O services to develop and update Tactical through Strategic Intelligence Systems/Capabilities training products/classes/documents and present training to units regarding current and future capabilities.
  • Provides support to operational tests, training product support using the Training Development Capability (TDC) database, and daily operational IT support.
  • Provides support to other Intelligence System NETs and provides input to the Training Developers/Instructors working in the Directorate of Training (DOT).
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications:

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Minimum 8 years of Army Military Intelligence experience and experience conducting analysis relevant to the SIGINT/EW Scripter position with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • Demonstrates ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines.
  • Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution.

Training & Development:

  • Graduate of the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or equivalent Intelligence Community instructor course (i.e., NGA College, NSA ADET, etc.).
  • Comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the SIGINT/EW Scripter role.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a 35N or 35P, 352N; 3+ years tactical and 3+ years operational experience as an intelligence professional spanning MICO, BCT, DIV-Corps level echelons.
  • Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
  • Ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence.
  • Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence polygraph. Candidates holding an active Top Secret/SCI clearance without the polygraph may be selected; the ability to obtain the required Counterintelligence polygraph is a condition of the position and will be completed as part of the hiring process.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer; may occasionally require standing or moving about the office for extended periods.
