Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years hands-on automation and controls experience.
• Strong Siemens S7 programming and troubleshooting.
• Experience with TIA Portal and STEP 7.
• Experience with S7-300/400/1200/1500 platforms.
• Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (PROFINET, PROFIBUS, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, OPC).
• Ability to read electrical drawings and P&IDs.
• Onsite work in Holly Springs, NC.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, program, modify, and troubleshoot Siemens S7 PLC systems in pharma/biotech manufacturing.
• Provide hands-on expertise with Siemens S7-300, S7-400, S7-1200, and S7-1500 platforms.
• Develop and modify PLC programs using TIA Portal and/or STEP 7.
• Support automation during installation, commissioning, startup, and readiness.
• Troubleshoot PLC, HMI, instrumentation, and controls issues.
• Configure and support Siemens HMI/SCADA systems (WinCC).
• Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for automation failures.
• Support integration between PLCs, field instruments, drives, and equipment.
