Job summary
Trinity Consultants Life Sciences in Clayton, NC, is seeking an experienced OT/Automation Engineer to design, implement, and optimize Siemens‑based automation in a regulated biotech/pharma facility. This onsite role emphasizes complete system design and lifecycle ownership.
The successful candidate will have deep expertise in Siemens WinCC Unified SCADA, TIA Portal, S7 PLCs, OT/IT integration, and strong collaboration with manufacturing, validation, quality, and IT teams to ensure compliant
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience including complete system design, architecture, development and implementation.
- Experience with SCADA deployment, PLC programming, and HMI design.
- Strong OT/IT integration and secure industrial system design.
- Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments and data integrity.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain Siemens automation and control systems.
- Lead full lifecycle automation projects from requirements to startup.
- Configure WinCC Unified SCADA and TIA Portal environments.
- Develop and troubleshoot S7 PLC systems and OT network architectures.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, validation, quality and IT teams.
