Job summary

The City of Philadelphia is seeking a SIEM Engineer to design, implement, and monitor the security infrastructure that protects the City’s data, systems, and networks. You will join a team responsible for the City's network security and modernization efforts, working with the Office of Innovation & Technology.

We value collaboration, adaptability, and self-direction as you manage SIEM components (Qradar), respond to threats, and create documentation for internal needs.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of SIEM and information security
• Minimum 1 year experience with IBM QRadar
• Strong networking knowledge and CLI skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Familiarity with IRS1075, HIPAA, CJIS etc.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor the City’s security infrastructure.
• Design and maintain a secure network supporting City operations.
• Collaborate with OIT and other units to modernize and secure city services.
• Create documentation for internal security processes.
