Job summary

City of Philadelphia's Office of Innovation & Technology is seeking a Network Security Analyst to support and sustain security processes within the Network Operations group. This in-person role requires driving a city vehicle and a valid driver's license.

The role involves remediation of alerts, policy configuration, and implementing security controls to meet auditing requirements, while collaborating with department leaders and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or related field.
• 3–5 years of IT experience with emphasis on network security.
• Experience in managing and maintaining complex networking systems and hardware.
• Network security certification preferred.
• Equivalent mix of education and experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Analyze alerts from monitoring tools to determine remediation.
• Assist with configuration of policy and implementation.
• Assist with security controls to meet auditing requirements.
• Interface with department leaders for remediation.
• Work with customers to form and fix policy and signature rules.
