Job summary

Ace Outdoor Services LLC is hiring dependable Walk Crew Foremen and Walk Crew Members for the upcoming winter season at our South Lyon location. The team keeps sidewalks, walkways, building entrances, and other pedestrian areas safe during snow and ice events.

Positions are seasonal, with on-call requirements and overtime, weekends, and holidays. Prior snow removal or outdoor work experience is preferred, and a valid driver's license is required for foremen.

Qualifications

• Must have 24/7 on-call availability during winter events.
• Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work in cold, snowy conditions.
• Strong communication and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform snow and ice removal from sidewalks, walkways, entrances, steps, and other pedestrian areas.
• Operate snow removal tools including snow blowers, shovels, and spreaders.
• Apply ice melt and deicing materials as directed by supervisors.
• Respond promptly for snow events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow routes, supervisor instructions, and all safety procedures.
• Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete assigned properties.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and communication during the winter season.
• Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Walk Crew Foremen: lead crew members and ensure quality and safety standards.

WE SPECIALIZE IN COMMERCIAL SNOW AND ICE MANAGEMENT AND ARE LOOKING FOR INDIVIDUALS WHO ARE READY TO WORK AS PART OF A TEAM TO KEEP SIDEWAKES, WALKWAYS, BUILDING ENTRANCES, AND OTHER PEDestrian AREAS SAFE AND ACCESSIBLE THROUGHOUT THE WINTER.

THIS IS A SEASONAL, 24/7 ON-CALL POSITION REQUIRING AVAILABILITY DURING SNOW AND ICE EVENTS, INCLUDING OVERTIME HOURS, WEEKENDS, AND HOLIDAYS. SNOW EVENTS CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME, AND RELIABILITY IS ESSENTIAL.

Responsibilities

• Perform snow and ice removal from sidewalks, walkways, building entrances, steps, and other designated pedestrian areas at commercial properties.
• Operate snow blowers, shovels, spreaders, and other assigned snow removal equipment.
• Apply ice melt and deicing materials as directed.
• Respond promptly when called in for snow and ice events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Follow assigned routes, supervisor instructions, and all company safety procedures.
• Work efficiently as part of a crew to complete assigned properties.
• Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and communication throughout the winter season.
• Report equipment issues, unsafe conditions, or other concerns to supervisors.
• Walk Crew Foremen: Lead and coordinate assigned crew members, oversee route completion, and ensure work meets company quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Previous commercial snow removal or related outdoor work experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license REQUIRED for Walk Crew Foremen.
• Must have 24/7 on-call availability throughout the winter season, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to the assigned branch location.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in cold, snowy, and icy conditions.
• Ability to safely operate snow removal tools and equipment.
• Strong communication and listening skills with the ability to follow directions.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to reporting for scheduled snow events.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation

$18.00–$23.00 per hour, based on position, experience, and skill level.

Additional bonus pay may be available.
