This position is for our South Lyon location ONLY.

Ace Outdoor Services is hiring experienced and dependable Snow Plow / Equipment Operators for the upcoming winter season!

We specialize in commercial snow and ice management and are looking for skilled operators who take pride in their work, prioritize safety, and can be counted on when winter weather hits.

This is a seasonal, 24/7 on-call position requiring availability during snow and ice events, including overnight hours, weekends, and holidays. Snow events can happen at any time, and reliability is essential to keeping our commercial properties safe and accessible.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate snow plow trucks, salt trucks, and assigned snow removal equipment at commercial properties.

• Clear snow and apply deicing materials to parking lots, roadways, and other designated areas.

• Respond promptly when called in for snow and ice events, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Follow assigned routes, supervisor instructions, and company safety procedures.

• Perform basic equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

• Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and communication throughout the winter season.

• Successfully complete a written snow plow assessment as part of the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of commercial snow plowing experience REQUIRED.

• Valid driver's license required.

• Experience operating snow plow trucks and related snow removal equipment.

• Must have 24/7 on-call availability throughout the winter season, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Reliable transportation to our Burton location.

• Ability to work safely and efficiently in challenging winter weather conditions.

• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently when assigned.

Please note: Applicants without prior commercial snow plowing experience will not be considered for this operator position.

Compensation

$19.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level.

Additional bonus pay may be available.
