Job summary

Community Health Systems is seeking a Registered Nurse in SICU at Gadsden Regional Medical Center for night shift coverage. This role emphasizes high-quality, patient-centered care with strong collaboration among physicians, nurses, and the care team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations.
• RN license required in state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care per nursing plan.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and care.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Respond to emergencies, including CPR and code team activities.
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record.
