Job summary

Endeavor Health in Skokie, IL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Medical Care Unit/SICU on a 7pm-7:30am night shift (36 hours). The hourly rate ranges from $37.25 to $57.74, depending on experience and qualifications.

Requirements include current IL nursing license, NLN-accredited program graduation (BSN preferred), BLS/CPR, and prior nursing experience or CNA background for new grads. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

Current professional Nursing Licensure in IL required.
Graduate of NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred.
BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
Experience: Prior nursing or CNA experience if new graduate.

Responsibilities

Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
