Job summary

Skokie Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Medical Care Unit/SICU on a full-time night shift (7pm-7:30am) with rotating weekends. This 36-hour week role focuses on delivering specialized, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, supervising unlicensed assistive personnel, collaborating with the care team, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Illinois nursing license required.
• NLN-accredited nursing program completed.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• BSN preferred; new graduates may apply with CNA experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a designated patient population.
• Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Guide and supervise unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care.
