Phoebe Putney Health System in Albany, GA, is hiring a Registered Nurse for the SICU on day shift. You will provide professional nursing care, perform assessments, plan and implement patient care, and collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality stroke care.

Requirements include an RN licensed in Georgia, BLS, ACLS prior to orientation, and NIHSS/GSCC within 2 years. Prior NCID or critical care experience is preferred. This role emphasizes patient safety and evidence-based practice.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited program (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited program (Preferred).
• 1+ year nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care per established standards.
• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate plans of care.
• Document care accurately and timely; ensure data is complete and legible.
• Coordinate with care teams and utilize community resources as needed.
• Support stroke care measures and quality improvement initiatives.
