Job summary

UAB St. Vincent's in Birmingham, AL is seeking a skilled SICU Nurse to join a 14-bed critical care unit. You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure accurate documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Life Support certification required within 180 days of hire.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed by the Alabama Board of Nursing prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and protocols.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and document patient status.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care for well-managed patient outcomes.
• Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Assist with discharge planning in coordination with the healthcare team.
