Aviation Advisor, Inc. is seeking a Second in Command (SIC) to ensure safe and efficient flight operations under FAR Part 91 and 135.

The role involves acting as a prominent representative to passengers while maintaining the highest level of professionalism and adherence to regulations. The SIC will supervise the first officer, coordinate crew activities, review weather, plan flight routes, and manage weight, balance, and fuel considerations.

Qualifications

• Multi-Engine Land ATP license required.
• Proficient in radiotelephone communications.
• Ability to pass drug tests and TSA screenings.
• Must reside within two hours of KARR airport.
• High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as Second in Command (SIC) for flight operations.
• Adhere to schedules and directives governing aircraft operation.
• Conduct preflight inspections before flights.
• Study weather for destinations and plan accordingly.
• Prepare or review flight plans and weight/balance calculations.
• Ensure aircraft readiness for passenger safety and comfort.
• Coordinate crew and supervise the first officer.
• Make decisions on start, delay, or diversion based on conditions.
• Work nonstandard schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Demonstrate strong customer service and attention to detail.
