Job summary

Advanced Air in Crescent City, CA is seeking a seasoned Lead Pilot / PIC to captain a Challenger 300 and lead a two‑pilot crew. You will exercise final authority for safe operations per FAR 91.3 and collaborate with Flight, Maintenance and Training teams to keep the aircraft owner‑ready at all times.

The role requires 3,000 hours total time with 1,000 hours turbine PIC, Challenger 300 PIC, and unrestricted ATP; CFI/CFII/MEI preferred.

Qualifications

Unrestricted ATP with Challenger 300 PIC experience.
Minimum 3,000 hours total time and 1,000 hours turbine PIC.
Strong knowledge of FAR Parts 91/135 and AIM.
CFI/CFII/MEI certifications preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead Pilot for VIP/owner operations; coordinate trips and crew training.
Operate the Challenger 300 as PIC under Part 91/135; ensure compliance with FARs and SOPs.
Retain final authority for safe operation and verify airworthiness via preflight checks.
Supervise a two-person crew; build rosters and manage qualifications.
Maintain owner-ready aircraft: cabin prep, galley, inventory, and passenger tech.
Develop SOPs and LOA approvals for CL300 operations; maintain records.
Monitor aircraft-related expenses and complete flight/duty logs; report issues.
Participate in Safety Management System and continuous improvement.
