AGC Electronics America is hiring an Assembly Operator 1 for the Day Shift in Hillsboro, Oregon. You will join a team in a manufacturing environment, assembling Silicon Carbide ceramics to drawings and specifications, following written procedures and maintaining a keen eye for precision.

Ideal candidates have experience with sanding, measuring devices, interpreting blueprints, and wearing PPE. The role emphasizes teamwork, willingness to learn, and strict adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions.
• Ability to interpret blueprints.
• Willingness to learn company policies and procedures.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manually shapes components to blueprint specs using sanding tools.
• Use fixtures, measuring devices, and gauge blocks for assembly setup.
• Apply slurry to joints with precise technique.
• Finish joints to conceal the joining process.
• Measure joined products to verify specifications.
• Move and handle green products per procedure.
• Perform minor maintenance on fixtures and machinery.
• Adhere to all safety protocols.
