AGC Electronics America in Hillsboro, Oregon, seeks a Sandblast Operator 1 for the day shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM). You will operate automated and manual sandblast equipment to remove excess material and create a smooth surface finish.

The role requires reading blueprints, following procedures, and wearing PPE. Prior experience with sandblast, airbrush, hand grinders, or similar tools is preferred; teamwork and initiative are valued. You will be part of a team that prioritizes safety and quality.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Understanding of basic shop math.
• Familiarity with measuring tools and instruments.
• Ability to interpret and follow shop drawings.
• Experience with sandblast, airbrush, grinders, or similar.
• Able to work independently or in a team with PPE.

Mansioni

• Remove carbon wicks and excess silicon using hand tools and sandblasting booths.
• Load product and operate sandblasting machine.
• Manage several automated sandblasting machines.
• Visually inspect surface finish per specifications.
• Read blueprints to determine serial number location.
• Set up and operate manual and automatic equipment.
