AGC Electronics America in Hillsboro, Oregon, is hiring a Sandblast Operator 1 for the Day Shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM). You will operate sandblast cabinets and grinding tools to create smooth surface finishes per procedures, loading and managing multiple machines while following strict blueprints and safety PPE requirements.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, basic shop math, and experience with sandblast, airbrush, and grinding tools.

Formación

High School diploma or GED is required.
Basic Shop Math understanding.
Familiarity with measuring tools and instruments.
Ability to interpret and follow shop drawings.
Experience with sandblast, airbrush, hand grinders, sanding machines, or similar.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Must wear PPE including respirator.

Responsabilidades

Remove carbon wicks and excess silicon from the product with hand grinding tools, and sandblasting booths.
Load product and operate sandblasting machine.
Manage the operation of several automated sandblasting machines simultaneously.
Visually inspect surface finish of the product and determine completion of sandblasting process, according to specifications.
Read blueprints to determine serial number location.
Set up and operate both manual and automatic equipment to specifications.
