Job summary

The University of Kansas, Wingspan: Center for Learning and Writing Support, seeks a motivated SI Leader to facilitate peer-led study sessions, attend lectures, and support student success on the Lawrence campus. You will collaborate with faculty and the SI Manager, participate in trainings, and promote sessions to students throughout the semester.

Requirements include maintaining at least a B grade in the target course and committing to 6–10 hours weekly, with afternoon/evening availability.

Qualifications

• Must maintain enrollment in no fewer than 6 credit hours.
• Able to work 6–10 hours per week, including afternoon and evening availability.
• Experience leading small groups and tutoring is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills demonstrated in application materials.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly SI sessions and attend all class lectures.
• Collaborate with faculty and SI Manager to monitor progress and address concerns.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and SI Leader trainings.
• Promote SI sessions to students through announcements and outreach.
