Job summary

Ko-Kwel Casino Resort in Oregon's southern coast seeks a Transportation Supervisor to lead a team of drivers, oversee daily shuttle operations, and ensure safe, reliable service for guests and staff. You will manage maintenance programs for the fleet, assist with hiring and training, prepare reports, and coordinate with security and other departments to handle events and peak periods.

The role requires strong safety focus, prior supervisory experience, and a valid Oregon driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' supervisory experience.
• At least three years of vehicle maintenance experience or knowledge.
• Experience driving vehicles with manual and automatic transmission.
• Valid Oregon driver's license with clean record and insurability.
• Excellent guest service skills with tact and diplomacy.
• Working knowledge of applicable employment regulations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, cleanliness and guest-friendly environment; report safety concerns.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports by deadlines.
• Enforce policies and procedures; update as needed with Director of Security.
• Investigate shuttle incidents; coordinate with HR on theft/damage claims.
• Create and review employee schedules for proper coverage.
• Provide or arrange defensive and safety training for transportation team.
• Lead guest service protocol development for drivers to enhance the Guest Service program.
• Support hiring, training, and employee evaluations in the department.
• Oversee preventative maintenance for all company vehicles; ensure readiness and cleanliness.
• Assist with annual department budget and cost tracking as needed.
• Coordinate with other departments for events and staffing needs.
• Manage shuttle service for on-site employee and guest transport; supervise the Fun Bus program.
• Maintain part-number database and cost history for fleet vehicles.
• Collaborate on procurement and vendor interactions; ensure payments are collected.
