Job summary

Mercy House in Bellflower, CA is seeking a Shuttle Driver Supervisor to safely transport guests to the Emergency Shelter program and supervise a regional team of drivers. You will oversee maintenance, provide admin support, and assist with on-site shelter tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include daily route planning, safety inspections, shelter support, and coordinating with the Fleet Manager. A Class C license and 24’+ vehicle experience are required; Spanish skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C Driver's License required.
• Ability to drive large vehicles (24’+).
• Knowledge of motor vehicle maintenance preferred.
• Paratransit experience preferred.
• Trauma-informed, non-physical de-escalation approach desired.

Responsibilities

• Assist shelter activities to ensure quality, trauma-informed service delivery.
• Drive program vehicles safely to pre-approved locations and maintain routes.
• Coordinate with Fleet Manager on vehicle movement and maintenance schedules.
• Train new drivers on routes, procedures, and safety measures.
