Job summary

Mercy House is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport guests for the Emergency Shelter Program and support shelter logistics. The role requires safe driving of up to 24-foot vehicles, route planning, safety checks, and helping with meals and facility cleanliness.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, with shifts including Mon, Tue, and Sun. A clean driving record and Class C license are required; Spanish is a valued skill.

Qualifications

• Must possess a clean driving record with no limitations.
• Comfortable driving large vehicles (~24 feet).
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Drive program vehicles to predetermined locations in a safe, orderly manner.
• Perform safety checks and report maintenance issues.
• Assist with shelter activities such as meals and laundry.
• Complete daily/weekly route and maintenance reports.
