You will transport customers to and from facilities, maintain logs, and ensure safety and compliance with policies. The job requires a California driver’s license, CPR, and a clean driving record. Must be 21+ years old and able to work in a team with the fleet.

Qualifications

  • California State Driver’s License.
  • High-school diploma or GED.
  • CPR card.
  • Valid driving record in compliance with company policy.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to operation and dispatch requests, using tools, maps, and addresses to transport customers to and from facilities in a timely manner.
  • Document trip information, adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality and patient rights.
  • Maintain a safe and clean vehicle environment; complete the mechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager.
  • Use appropriate communication methods, including standard radio transmission codes, to respond, route patients, and comply with information security standards.
  • Operate transportation equipment such as stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchair, and use protective personal equipment; manage disposal of supplies as necessary.
  • Collaborate professionally with allied health, public safety personnel, fellow drivers, and the operations team.
