Job summary

Christian Brothers Automotive is seeking a Shuttle Driver for a part-time role in Simpsonville, SC. You will provide safe transportation for guests to and from the shop and assist with parts pickup, while upholding a friendly, respectful attitude consistent with CBA’s values.

The position features a flexible part-time schedule (2-5 days per week) with weekends closed. Training is available through the CBA Flywheel Learning System to support successful service delivery.

• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe shuttle service for guests between the shop and destination.
• Drive to pick up automotive parts as needed.
• Maintain a timely shuttle route and assist guests in getting in and out of vehicles.
• Keep the shuttle vehicle clean and report maintenance needs.

Job Overview:

As a Shuttle Driver with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our guests look to when they need safe and reliable transport to and from our shop. You are the person that our guests see every time they make an investment into their vehicle, because of these reasons you play a large role in building relationships with our guests and our community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Desire to learn automotive repair service terminology and processes
• Providing a safe shuttle service for our valued guests, driving guests to and from the shop location
• Driving to pick up automotive parts as needed
• Treating our guests with the utmost respect under all circumstances and with a heart consistent with Christian Brothers
• Keeps a timely shuttle route
• Assists passengers in getting in and out of vehicles
• Assisting the shop with receiving, processing, incoming and outgoing parts and other errands as needed
• Notifies service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance
• Keep the facility clean and organized
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
• The employee is occasionally required to balance, stoop, kneel, and/or crouch
• The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
• Being dependable for a position that is Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
