Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Lockbourne, OH, seeks a Driver-D Shift (Thu–Sun, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM) to join our terminal/warehouse/transport team. You will verify shipment bills, load and unload freight, and perform daily vehicle safety checks.

You will deliver and recover freight using company vehicles, operate RF scanners, and ensure regulatory compliance and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Must meet Federal and State standards of qualification for commercial drivers (DOT/FMCSA).
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing, bending, and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Verify shipment bills for required information and load freight onto trucks.
• Unload freight from trucks and check dimensions against shipper's calculations.
• Perform daily safety checks as it relates to the assigned vehicle and maintain daily security checks.
• Deliver freight to customer locations and recover freight using company vehicles.
• Use RF and/or Computer System for trailer inventory control.
• Observe and comply with all Federal and State standards for commercial drivers.
