Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA is seeking a Driver-A Shift (MON-FRI 6 AM-- 2:30 PM). The role involves loading and unloading freight, verifying bills, and delivering or recovering shipments to client sites, while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

You will work with warehouse and data center teams to maximize output, perform daily vehicle checks, and adapt to rapid operational changes. This is a full-time, on-site position in Lockbourne, OH.

Qualifications

• Meet all Federal and State standards of qualification for commercial drivers.
• Perform daily safety checks as they relate to the vehicle assigned.
• Interact with warehouse and data center teams to maximize output and efficiency.
• Adapt to frequent change requests in a fast-changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify shipment-bills for required information and load freight onto trucks.
• Unload freight from trucks and weigh/check dimensions compared to shipper’s calculations.
• Deliver freight to customer location using company vehicles.
• Recover freight from customer location using company vehicles.
• Inspect truck and trailer equipment to ensure road worthiness and notify supervisor of repairs.
• Maintain radio or telephone contact with the team.
