Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis company, is hiring for a Driver/Attendant role in Richmond, VA. The position pays $16.20 per hour plus tips and includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, assisting customers, and maintaining safety and cleanliness. Must have a valid driver’s license, DOT Medical Card, and be able to work various shifts including possible weekends.

Qualifications

• Less than High School education or one month related experience.
• A valid state driver's license with a current address and acceptable driving record.
• DOT Medical Card is required.
• Availability to work special shifts; 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions and communicate with customers and employees.
• Must maintain neat appearance in uniform.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
• Be punctual and in uniform for scheduled shifts.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain acceptable DMV record.
• Direct customers to the Facility Manager when needed and answer questions.
• Report accidents and safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Notify garage staff about debris, spills, or hazards.
• Substitute for cashiers or valets when necessary.
• Know the garage areas and local streets well.
• Assist customers with luggage or travel items when applicable.
• Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
