Job summary

Auto Warehousing Company (AWC) is hiring 4 Full Time Day Shift Shuttle Drivers for the East Liberty location. This outdoor role runs Monday–Friday with mandatory weekends as needed, 6:30 a.m. start times and $16.98 per hour.

Full benefits are provided, with weekly pay on Thursdays. Work includes inspecting, driving and parking customer vehicles in outdoor yard conditions. Responsibilities include moving vehicles from staging to shipping areas, maintaining yard quality, training new staff and

• Valid State driver's license with good driving record.
• Ability to drive automatic transmission vehicles and pass safety test with 80% accuracy.

• Maintain yard quality standards and safety procedures (AAR).
• Train new associates and temporary workers.
• Follow directions and procedures; work in various weather conditions.

We are hiring 4 Full Time Day Shift Shuttle Drivers for our East Liberty location. This position will be primarily days Monday - Friday + mandatory weekends as needed 6:30a-until shift is complete. We pay $16.98 per hour, a full benefits package is available and pay day is every Thursday! This is 100% outdoors in all weather.

Summary of Position

• Inspecting, driving and parking of customer vehicles in yard at the East Liberty Honda facility.

Essential Functions, Duties and Tasks

• Ensure new vehicles are driven and parked in assigned areas according to manufacturer's specifications
• Inspects cars to detect damage and to verify presence of accessories listed on invoice
• Move vehicles from staging areas to shipping bay location
• Ensure yard quality standards are maintained
• Train new associates and temporary workers
• Must be able to follow directions and consistently follow procedures
• Must adhere to AAR and safety procedures
• Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a positive behavior and conduct in the workplace while acting and communicating with customers, vendors, co-workers and management
• Ability to work in a variety of situations

General Description

• Associates drive vehicles from various storage lots to shipment areas.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be able to work outside in various weather conditions
• Must be able to move 40-80 vehicles per day
• Walk continuously throughout the day
• Associates must be able to work as a team or individually depending on workload

Education, Experience and Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must have and maintain a valid State driver's license and must have a good driving record
• Must be able to drive automatic transmission vehicles
• Must be able to pass the AWC's driver's safety test with an 80% accuracy or better
